This policy applies to the data we collect through this website, WhatsApp, phone and email, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

02What data we process

  • Contact details: name, phone number and, if you give it to us, email address.
  • Service details: the town and address where the cleaning will take place, and the agreed day and time.
  • Photos of the furniture, stain or space that you send us so we can give you a quote.
  • Billing details when you book, especially for business services: company name, tax ID (NIF) and registered address.
  • The content of your messages sent via the form, WhatsApp or email.

We don’t ask you for any special category data. If you mention something of that kind when describing your situation (an allergy, for example), we’ll only use it to tailor the service.

03What we use your data for

  • Answering your enquiries and preparing a quote for you.
  • Scheduling, carrying out and reviewing the service you’ve booked.
  • Issuing invoices and meeting our accounting and tax obligations.
  • Handling service guarantee claims, issues and complaints.
  • Sending you reminders or notices about a service you’ve booked.
  • Sending you offers or news, only if you’ve given us your express consent to do so.

We don’t make automated decisions or build profiles using your data.

04Legal basis

  • Consent: when you write to us via the form, WhatsApp or email to ask for information.
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps: to prepare your quote and provide the service.
  • Legal obligation: for invoicing and keeping accounting and tax records.
  • Legitimate interest: to handle complaints and keep the website secure.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting any processing carried out before then.

05How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and quotes not accepted: as long as needed to reply to you and, at most, 12 months.
  • Customers: for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the legally required periods. As a general rule, six years for accounting and tax records.
  • Photos: we delete them once they’re no longer needed for the quote or the service guarantee.

06The photos you send us

We use the photos you send us only to assess the job, give you a price and, if needed, check the result under the guarantee.

We don’t publish photos of your home, your furniture or any person on our website or social media without your express permission. If you do give it, we’ll remove anything that could identify you or your home.

07Who we share your data with

We don’t sell or pass on your data to third parties, except where required by law (for example, to the Spanish Tax Agency).

To operate, we work with providers who access some data on our behalf and under contract: web hosting, email, our accountants and the WhatsApp messaging service when you use it to contact us.

08International transfers

Some of these providers, such as WhatsApp (Meta) or Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases the safeguards set out in the GDPR apply, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or certification under the EU‑US Data Privacy Framework.

09Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw any consent you have given.

To do so, email us at info@vaporexbarcelona.site stating which right you wish to exercise. If we have any doubts about your identity, we may ask you for additional information to confirm it. We will reply within one month at the latest.

If you feel we haven’t handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

10Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, and we require the same of the providers we work with.

11Minors

Our services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14. If we find that we have received any, we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or to the law. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
