Why clean your sofa
A sofa is the most-used piece of furniture in the home: meals, naps, pets, children. Over time the fabric soaks up sweat, body oils and dust, and the padding becomes home to dust mites. A vacuum cleans the surface; what smells and what triggers allergies is a few centimetres further down.
Injection‑extraction forces hot water and eco-friendly detergent deep into the padding and sucks it back out in the same pass, drawing the dirt out. It doesn’t spread it around or push it further in, which is what happens with a sponge or a household cleaner.

Upholstery nozzle over seats, backs, arms and the gaps between cushions. It lifts dust, hair and dry debris before anything gets wet; otherwise they’d turn to mud.
Each stain gets its own product: enzymatic for organic stains (urine, vomit, food), degreaser for body oils, and a dedicated treatment for tannins such as wine or coffee. It’s left to work for a few minutes.
Hot water and eco-friendly detergent forced into the padding and extracted in the same pass. Cushion by cushion, sides and back included. This is where the water comes out dark.
A second pass with disinfectant kills dust mites, bacteria and allergens, and breaks down the cause of the odour instead of masking it with fragrance.

Between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the fabric and how well ventilated your home is. The machine extracts most of the water in the same pass, so the sofa is left damp, not wet. If we clean in the morning, you can use it by the evening.
Yes. We use temperature-controlled hot water, never boiling, and test colourfastness on a hidden area before we start. On delicate fabrics we lower the pressure. After hundreds of sofas, losing shape just isn’t a real risk with this method.
Yes, and it’s one of the most common requests we get. Urine soaks into the padding, which is why surface cleaners don’t work. We inject an enzyme product that breaks down the cause of the odour and then extract it. We don’t mask it with perfume.
Eco-friendly detergents and disinfectants with no bleach or harsh solvents, suitable for homes with children, pets and allergy sufferers. They leave no sticky residue or chemical smell.
Just make sure the sofa is accessible (we’ll move it away from the wall ourselves) and there’s a socket nearby. We bring the machine, water and products. If it has removable covers, there’s no need to take them off.
Once a year with normal use. Every six months if you have pets, young children or allergies at home, or if the sofa is a light colour. Cleaning it in good time adds years to the life of the upholstery.
Yes. Any upholstered furniture: armchairs, easy chairs, dining chairs, headboards, pouffes and sofa beds. If we clean them on the same day as the sofa, you get a better price for the lot.
We check the sofa with you before we leave. If anything isn’t right, we redo it there and then or come back another day free of charge.
You pay when the job is finished, in cash or by bank transfer. You can cancel or rearrange your appointment free of charge with 48 hours’ notice.
